Comments:
Tillyard features figures of Mecistogaster lucretia and Megaloprepus coerulatus, and describes the larva of Mecistgaster - but places Pseudostigma first in the list of incorporated genera.
Commentary:
Large, long-abdomened damselflies with nodus close to wingbase. Larvae live in phytotelmata & c., adults feed on (orb) web spiders. Believed derived from Coenagrionidae.
