Amphipteryx agrioides Selys 1853 by original designation
Comments:
Previously incorporated numerous superficially similar genera (including Diphlebia, Philoganga). Novelo-GutiƩrrez (1995) restricted Amphipterygidae to those forms where the larvae possessed gill tufts situated near the anus (Amphipteryx, Devadatta, Pentaphlebia, Rimanella). On further analysis the family has been restricted to the single genus Amphipteryx.
